86th Annual General Meeting and Special Meeting: Agropur is Well Positioned to Face Future Challenges

Drummondville, February 12, 2025 – At its 86th Annual General Meeting and Special Meeting held today, Agropur discussed the results of its latest financial year, highlighting the progress made in 2024.

“We are proud to have once again improved our profitability, which will allow the Cooperative to reinvest in our manufacturing facilities, in our employees, and ultimately, to create long-term value for our members. These good results also allowed us to declare $60 million in rebates to our dairy farmer members. It is clear that Agropur is well positioned to continue its key role in feeding our communities by being a player in the sustainable processing of dairy products,” said Mr. Roger Massicotte, President of Agropur.

The Cooperative achieved revenues of $8.8 billion for the year 2024, representing a growth of 6.8% compared to 2023. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) continued to progress, reaching $609.6 million, an increase of 11.7% compared to the previous year.

Looking to the Future

“The Cooperative is well positioned to maintain its competitiveness in an uncertain economic context. We are seeing an increase in sales of consumer milk in Canada and cheese sales in the United States. By achieving efficiency gains in our operations, we are better equipped to reinvest in the Cooperative and better prepared to face the challenges ahead,” added Émile Cordeau, CEO.
