Reducing our carbon footprint

Éco Entreprises Québec’s OptimEco.ca site has recognized our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint by making milk bags thinner.

Reducing the thickness of our milk bags by 0.25 millimetres (0.5 g) has cut the greenhouse gas emissions generated by the production of packaging for our 4 L milk by 6%. Given the large quantity of milk bags sold annually, that adds up to significant savings from a slight change in packaging.
