In a few weeks, the Agropur team will once again be travelling throughout Quebec and the Atlantic provinces for the fall Regional Meetings. Held from November 6 to 29, the meetings are an important time for Agropur’s members, the board of directors, members of the management committee and the cooperation team to meet in one place. The Regional Meetings allow members to learn about the Cooperative’s situation and receive information about the strategic vision and organizational priorities.

At lunch, participants can network informally before sessions begin on strategic issues for the Cooperative, such as financial results, associative life, industry news and things to watch for at the annual general meeting. The Regional Meetings are also where delegates are elected, and facilitators are selected for the coming year.

This is a great opportunity each year for members to bring in the next generation and involve family members and farm partners in cooperative life. It is also during the Regional Meetings that the winners of the Club of Excellence for Milk Quality and Animal Welfare are announced. The Grand Champions will be announced at the Annual General Meeting next February.
