Agropur President Roger Massicotte’s comments on the federal budget tabled by Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland: “Agropur welcomes the financial compensation for dairy processors to help offset the impact of two international trade agreements, the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union, and the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement or Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), a multilateral free trade agreement among countries in the Asia-Pacific region and the Americas. This is a step in the right direction.”
