SOCODEVI Foundation: Supporting Cooperative Families in Ukraine

Vaches dans un champs avec le drapeau de Ukraine

The armed conflict in Ukraine affects us all, and its consequences are felt around the world.

For nearly 13 years, Agropur has been making a tangible contribution to improving the living conditions of thousands Ukrainian farming families by supporting various projects led by the Société pour la coopération et le développement international (SOCODEVI). Over the years, many Agropur members and employees have participated in dozens of aid missions.

SOCODEVI’s commitment to solidarity and collaboration with Ukrainian farmers aligns with our Cooperative’s own values. That is why we have launched a fundraising campaign in which Agropur will match every dollar donated by members through SOCODEVI, up to $25,000.

In the short term, the donations collected will be used to support the cooperative families most affected by the war. The funds will go towards procuring and distributing essential food and household items, helping local leaders distribute aid, and purchasing materials and equipment for producing and processing agricultural products.

Every dollar counts.  If you would like to donate to this initiative, please fill out the following form: https://socodevi.org/en/get-involved/. It is important to write “Agropur” in the “Organization, company or member institution” field so we can match your donation.

The more Agropur members who participate, the more successful this fundraising initiative will be and the more we can be proud of our efforts!

If you have any questions, please get in touch with your Cooperative Advisor, whose contact information is included on your milk pay statement and your capital statement.
