The Miramichi Plant, a Key Player in Regional Dairy Processing

Miramichi Plant

Built in the early 1950s and officially acquired by Agropur in 2014, the Miramichi plant stands out as New Brunswick’s only dairy.

Along with the plant in Amqui, Quebec, it is one of two Agropur plants that process our Northumberland brand products, which have earned a solid reputation among families in Atlantic Canada.

What makes you particularly proud?

“Being far from major centers, we have developed an autonomy from equipment suppliers and are able to overcome any situation. For every challenge, we always find a solution. We have an experienced team who know the dairy industry and are always ready to help other plants.”
