Agropur recognizes the importance of investing into the growth and development of the next generation. Our internship programs give students hands-on experience and knowledge that will help guide them into successful careers in the food, beverage, dairy and nutrition industries. Ultimately, we believe our investments will help the food industry continue to improve year after year.
Our internship opportunities span a variety of career paths such as: research and development, operations, quality, safety, marketing, accounting, engineering, sales, international logistics and more!
As an intern, you will receive a full immersion into our company and culture. We will treat you as a member of our team and use your input on actionable projects. Most importantly, you will take on responsibility, work with autonomy and hone your skillset. We encourage students to celebrate their accomplishments while we serve as their guiding light.
Every fall, Agropur US Operations participates in recruitment efforts at some of the top universities and colleges known for expertise in areas applicable to Agropur.
We are on the search for top talent -- both at the undergraduate and master’s level -- to participate in our summer internship program.
These internships generally begin in May or June and run for a period of 90 days.
Management works with individuals to define objectives and expectations. It is important to us to provide a rich and fulfilling experience that is satisfying to our students.

JOIN AGROPUR.
Operations
Interns in operations work closely with plant leadership on tasks and projects in cheese and whey ingredient production. Internship projects have included efforts to improve upon plant efficiency.
Quality
Our interns in quality maintain consistency in company protocols and procedures, learn and assist with conducting routine quality inspections related to food production, collect samples for equipment, environmental and in-process monitoring as well as assist with executing QA hold/release functions. They help us maintain Agropur’s commitment to food safety and quality.
R&D
Agropur’s R&D interns are assigned to short term projects, conduct experiments, perform testing and analyze data.
Engineering
Our project-based internships in engineering give students to the opportunity to work with design reviews, design changes and development of projects within our cheese and ingredient facilities.
Safety
Safety Interns partner with plant leadership and the Safety Manager on various tasks and projects to help ensure plant compliance with all rules and regulations, safe building and equipment upkeep as well as modeling and providing training on safe behavior for all employees.
Corporate (Information Technology, Strategic Sourcing, Human Capital)
Like our other internships, our corporate departments will treat you as a member of the team and assign important projects in areas including information technology, safety, human capital, marketing and more.
